Eye Camp and Free Eye Surgeries (Andhra Pradesh & Tamilnadu)

  • Eyecamp#1: Andhra Pradesh (Nutakki, Guntur district) – 23rd December
    Screened 750 people and 250 cataract surgeries were performed
    Free diabetes screening by VGR Diabetes Hospital, Vijayawada
  • Eyecamp#2: Tamilnadu (Karthigaipatti, Trichy) – 21st July
    Screened 247 people and 172 cataract surgeries were performed
  • Eyecamp#3: Tamilnadu (Thottiyam, Trichy) – 18th August
    Screened 155 people and 99 cataract surgeries were performed
  • Eyecamp#4: Tamilnadu (Thottiyam, Trichy) – 15th December
    Screened 141 people and 47 cataract surgeries were performed
  • Eyecamp#5: Tamilnadu (Thensangampalayam, Coimbatore) – 15th July
    Screened 50 people and 24 cataract surgeries were performed
  • Eyecamp#6: Tamilnadu (Thensangampalayam, Coimbatore) – 19th August
    Screened 12 people and 3 cataract surgeries were performed

All eye camps are organized in collaboration with Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.

Prosthetic legs, Jaipur Legs and hands to children/adults (Andhra Pradesh)

  • Jaipur legs to 15 adults, hands to 9 kids and 1 prosthetic leg. Provided prosthetic leg to S.Sriram, Jaipur legs to 15 adults and hands to 9 kids. Thanks to Dr. Kalyan Aluri, Dr. Praveena Aluri, Vishaal Jagannadhan, Ganeswar Rao, Srini Chareddy, Ananta Karanam, Bhanu Chvk, Krishna Kothapalli, Senthil Rajendran, Anish Kasupa, and Satish Annapureddy for supporting this program. Sudheekshan Foundation founder Vimala Chigurupati, VGR Diabetes Hospital’s Chief Dr. Venugopal Reddy graced the occasion. (19th August)
  • Provided prosthetic legs to 3 young adults. This will help them to continue their studies, Or pursue their passion and perform most of the activities like all other youngsters. Vijayawada DCP Kranthi Rana Tata, Sudheekshan Foundation founder Vimala Chigurupati, VGR Diabetes Hospital’s Chief Dr. Venugopal Reddy graced the occasion. (29th June)

  • Prosthetic leg to one boy and artificial hands to two youngsters. Provided prosthetic leg to Harsha (4 year old boy) and artificial hands to two youngsters. MITTI: Back to Roots film (Telugu)


  • “Mitti telugu version is ready: “మట్టి – వేర్లు వెతుక్కుంటున్న వ్యవసాయం”
    This film depicts our farmers problems and showcases possible solutions. Thanks to entire team: Award winning director Anshul Sinha and Agriculture Scientist Dr. Ramanjaneyulu GV, Dinesh Chandrasekar DC, Rayala Harischandra, Sandeep Yadav, Anumeha Singh, Anil Sharma, Amit Sharma, Padma Vangapally and others. Rural Hope Foundation co-produced this film along with other farmer champions. Telugu version was made possible by VGR Charitable Trust (Dr. Konda Venugopala Reddy) and Rural Hope Foundation. Thanks to everyone that helped with this initiative. Planning to screen this film very soon, in all villages that severely affected with farmer suicides. (18th March)

  • Groceries: Handed 4 tins cooking oil, Jaggery, pulses, soaps and other items to Matruchaya Orphanage. Y.Rohini Kumar master, High school HM V.V.Rao, Akramuddin graced the occasion(29th December).
  • 130 pairs of clothesProvided 130 pairs of clothes to kids at Matruchaya. It includes 1 pair of school uniform, 1 pair of civil dress and 2 pairs of night dress to each kid. Akramuddin, Gogula Srinu, Maheswara Reddy, Garlapati Prasada rao and Chandrasekhar Konda graced the occasion(20th October).
  • Groceries: Handed 400kgs rice, 4 tins cooking oil, Jaggery, pulses..etc to Matruchaya Orphanage. Akramuddin, Gogula Srinu, Maheswara Reddy, Garlapati Prasada rao and Chandrasekhar Konda graced the occasion(20th October).
  • Groceries: Handed 250kgs rice, cooking oil, pulses..etc to Matruchaya Orphanage. Nutakki Elementary School principal Sri Y.Rohini Kumar garu was the chief guest and delivered valuable message to kids at Matruchaya (31st July).

Pallavi Oldage Home (Hyderabad, Telangana)

  • Van: Handed a new van to Pallavi oldage home, Hyderabad. This van will help them to a great extent to bring new women to the facility, to take them to hospital for regular medical checkups, to get groceries and to take care of many other things. Thanks a lot Ravi for your support. (17th December)
  • Facility Upgrade: Completed building renovation at Pallavi oldage home, Hyderabad. This includes flooring and tiles to an area of 1200 sqft, converting a big hall into a nice place for residents to use it as a living area as well as place to sleep. Currently this oldage home caters to 45 women that were rescued from street, many of them are mentally challenged. Thanks to Ravi Remani, Venkateswarlu Bheema Sriram Chavali for making this happen. Dining Hall for a School (Addanki, Andhra Pradesh)

  • Constructed a dining hall at Chaitanya school for deaf. Thanks to Balasankar for making this happen. (5th September)

Mini Telugu Libraries at 11 ZPH Schools

  • Setup mini telugu libraries at 11 high schools to promote mother tongue telugu language reading and speaking among all students. These are ZPH schools at Nutakki, Revendrapadu, Chirravuru, Munnangi, Vallabhapuram, Penumaka, Tadepalli, Vaddeswaram, Panyam, Yallur, Palem (TS)

Digital Smart Class Content to High Schools (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana)


  • Implemented Digital Smart Class content (from 6th to 10th grades) in three high schools – ZPSS Echoda, Adilabad (dist); ZPSS, Indervelly-B, Adilabad(dist); ZPHS Durgi, Guntur(dist).   • Provided scholarships to 31 students that are studying 11th and 12th grades
