Matruchaya Orphanage (Nutakki, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh)

  • Groceries: Handed groceries to Matruchaya to support them for 2 months. Y.Rohini Kumar master, Gogula Srinu graced the occasion (6th December 2019).
  • Handed 42 pairs of civil dress to kids at Matruchaya on Vijaya Dasami Day. (8th October 2019)
  • Setup Monkey bars / horizontal ladder at Matruchaya to help kids with strength training. (12th September 2019)
  • Groceries: Handed 4 tins cooking oil, Jaggery, tamarind, pulses, soaps, coconut oil and other items to support them for 2 months. Y.Rohini Kumar master, Gogula Srinu graced the occasion (July 2019).
  • After School Snacks: Started after school snacks program, providing heathy, nutritious snacks to kids. (Jan 2019).
  • Milk for Health: Started milk for health program, providing each kid with a glass of milk per day. Y.Rohini Kumar master and Akramuddin graced the occasion (Jan 2019).
  • Added more moral story books to Mini library at Matruchaya. (8th October 2019)

Pratyusha Girls Home (Arakuvalley, AP)

  • Handed 194 pairs of clothes to 97 tribal girls studying 1st grade to degree on Gandhi Jayanthi day. (2nd October)
  • Groceries: Delivered 425kgs of rice, 80liters cooking oil, 50kgs ravva, dal, pulses and other groceries to this tribal girls orphanage to support them for a month. (26th August)
  • Groceries: Delivered 425kgs of rice, 4 tins of cooking oil, 50kgs dal, 50kgs ravva and other groceries to support them for a month. (15th June)

MCBR Oldage Home (Pedaparimi, Andhra Pradesh)

  • Provided financial support to MCBR charitable trust to help in the construction of Oldage Home (Vruddalayam) at Pedaparimi near Vijayawada. Construction is almost complete and the Oldage Home will become operational in about 2 months. Thanks to Venkat Katikala and family for making this happen. (2nd December)

Pallavi Oldage Home (Hyderabad, Telangana)

  • Groceries: Delivered 500kgs of rice, 50kgs dal, 100kgs ravva, cooking oil and other groceries to Pallavi Oldage Home to support them for two months. Thanks to Aruna Renduchintala, Ravi Kumar Remani for making this happen. (10th February)

Prosthetic legs, Jaipur Legs and hands to children/adults (Andhra Pradesh)

  • Provided prosthetic leg to 1 young adult This was given to Swathi Bangu. Lost her leg 4 months back when her own father attached her. With this artificial limb she can go to college to continue studies and try to lead normal life. Thanks to Vijaya Kumar Jasti and Madhavi (12th Feb)
  • Jaipur legs to 40 people (adults and kids) Provided Jaipur legs to 40 people (adults and kids). Thanks to NWA Ashreya, Murali Kudupa and Sudheekshan foundation for making this happen(18th August)
  • Jaipur legs to 10 people (adults and kids) Provided Jaipur legs to 10 people (adults and kids). Thanks to Bhaskar Pusuluri and Sudheekshan foundation for making this happen(29th September)

Motorized wheelchair to a college student

  • Handed a motorized wheelchair on Vijaya Dasami day to a student who doesn’t have both legs. Gnanasundar who was suffering with this from birth, is now able move freely with this motorized wheelchair and attend college to pursue his studies (degree). (8th October)

Weaving machines to 8 weaver families

  • Handed ASU weaving machines to 8 weaver families at Lingala Ghanapur, Janagaon district, Telangana, in association with Padma Shri awardee and inventor of this machine, Sri Chinthakindi Mallesham.

Tailoring Classes (Women Empowerment)

  • Setup a tailoring center with 7 sewing machines. An instructor was hired to teach tailoring to local women. The goal is to make all the local women learn tailoring and start stitching clothes for their family in the center. They can also start earning income by stitching clothes for other people from the village

Braille Equipment to Law Student

  • Supported Siddu Loute with 10% of the funds to procure Braille system and other equipment. Born in a poor family, Siddu faced parental neglect on account of his congenital blindness. Left home at age five. With support from community Siddu completed his primary education and pursuing LLB now. He aspires to become an IAS officer. Siddu is also known as human computer for his unique abilities in math. He can solve multiplication of any number up to 99 crores with a single digit number and memorized 45000 phone numbers
  • This Braille equipment will help him to read and write on his own and support in his LLB and civils preparation. Thanks to Jaya Naga Mohan Manda, Mallik Polineni and all our supporters for making this happen.

Scholarships, School Fee and Teachers Salaries

  • Paid college fees for this academic year to 8 tribal girls that are studying intermediate and/or degree. Rural Hope Foundation plans to support them until they finish their studies (degree) and get a job.
  • Recruited 6 additional teaching staff at 4 schools to supplement students’ education and paying their salaries for this year (2019)
  • Provided scholarships to 35 students pursuing 11th/12th and degree.
  • Provided financial support to improve infrastructure at a high school.

  • Planted 100 tree saplings at a high school
